For People Who Refuse to Blend In
Last Updated: October 11, 2026
1. Purpose & Commitment
Medellin Mafia Design (MMD) is an independent, Wisconsin-based fashion, accessories, footwear, and lifestyle brand established in 2016.
Our company operates through several specialized production and fulfillment models, including:
-
Print-on-demand (POD) manufacturing.
-
Cut-and-sew apparel production.
-
Custom garment and textile manufacturing.
-
Made-to-order products.
-
Inflatable stand-up paddleboard (SUP) design and manufacturing.

Design-to-cut services for manufacturing providers.
-
Private-label and branded product production where available.
-
Third-party production and order fulfillment.
We collaborate with independent manufacturers, suppliers, and fulfillment partners to deliver original products and customized designs to our customers.
This Supplier Partnership Policy establishes the operational expectations, quality standards, manufacturing requirements, shipping standards, and business practices MMD seeks from current and prospective suppliers.
Our goal is to develop reliable, transparent, and mutually beneficial supplier relationships that protect our brand, our customers, and our creative work.
2. Supplier Eligibility & Requirements
MMD evaluates suppliers based on business legitimacy, production capabilities, manufacturing quality, fulfillment reliability, shipping performance, and compatibility with our existing operations.
Prospective suppliers should provide:
-
Registered business or company information.
-
Accurate product catalogs and specifications.
-
Manufacturing and customization capabilities.
-
Supported print-on-demand and cut-and-sew services.
-
Available custom manufacturing options.
-
Minimum order quantity (MOQ) requirements.
-
Transparent manufacturing and shipping prices.
-
Production and delivery estimates.
-
Available product samples.
-
Shipping and tracking capabilities.
-
Warranty, replacement, and defect-resolution procedures.
-
Information about supplier dashboards, APIs, or e-commerce integrations.
Mandatory Shipping Capability
All prospective suppliers must demonstrate access to shipping services capable of delivering completed orders to customers within MMD's standard 4–15-calendar-day shipping window, beginning when the carrier accepts the shipment.
Suppliers unable to meet this standard must disclose their limitations and obtain written approval for any exception before receiving affected orders.
This shipping requirement applies to all manufacturing and fulfillment partners, regardless of product category or country of operation.
MMD reserves the right to evaluate, approve, decline, or discontinue supplier relationships according to business requirements and applicable agreements.
3. Supplier Platforms & Integration
Efficient supplier management is a priority for Medellin Mafia Design.
MMD already works with an established network of manufacturing and fulfillment providers.
We strongly prefer suppliers that offer a professional platform supporting:
-
Direct business account management.
-
Product catalogs and customization options.
-
Artwork and production-file uploads.
-
Cut-and-sew template access.
-
Custom manufacturing specifications.
-
Order processing and tracking.
-
Production-status updates.
-
Inventory and availability management.
-
Shipping and fulfillment notifications.
-
Centralized supplier communication.
-
Invoice and payment tracking.
-
Integration with existing e-commerce systems where technically available.
Suppliers without dedicated platforms may still be considered if they provide a reliable alternative workflow.
MMD does not guarantee acceptance of suppliers whose processes introduce excessive administrative work or disrupt existing business operations.
4. Product Quality & Manufacturing Standards
All products manufactured for MMD must follow approved specifications.
These may include:
-
Accurate dimensions and sizing.
-
Approved product materials.
-
Correct design placement.
-
Consistent print quality and colors.
-
Proper construction and stitching.
-
Suitable durability and workmanship.
-
Approved customization details.
-
Appropriate packaging and labeling.
Suppliers must not make unauthorized changes to product construction, material selection, artwork, measurements, or approved design placement.
Manufacturing approval may require production proofs, mockups, samples, or technical verification.
5. Cut-and-Sew Manufacturing Requirements
MMD works with manufacturers offering custom cut-and-sew production for apparel and textile products.
Examples include:
-
Custom hoodies and zip-up hoodies.
-
Jackets and outerwear.
-
Pants, joggers, and cargo pants.
-
Shorts and athletic apparel.
-
Dresses and fashion garments.
-
Swimwear and bikini sets.
-
Leggings and fitted clothing.
-
Other custom-sewn garments.
Cut-and-sew suppliers must provide accurate manufacturing templates and garment specifications before production when required for the project.
Technical information should include:
-
Front and back body-panel measurements.
-
Sleeve cutting templates.
-
Hood and collar patterns.
-
Pockets and waistband sections.
-
Side panels and additional garment pieces.
-
Seam allowances and sewing guidelines.
-
Safe printing and cutting boundaries.
-
Fabric type, stretch, and shrinkage specifications.
-
Sizing and pattern-grading information.
-
Artwork orientation and panel alignment.
Manufacturers are responsible for identifying the templates and specifications required to produce the requested garments.
MMD artwork must be aligned to approved garment sections without unauthorized repositioning, distortion, or cropping.
Important: Sewing guides, stitching guides, and technical cutting boundaries are used for production alignment and must not be included in visible finished artwork unless intentionally approved as part of the design.
MMD may request digital proofs or physical samples before approving bulk manufacturing.
6. Design-to-Cut & Production Artwork Services
MMD develops custom artwork and prepares production-ready design files for manufacturers and printing providers.
These services may include:
-
Custom artwork development.
-
Artwork positioning and panel alignment.
-
Design adaptation for manufacturer cutting templates.
-
Front and back garment layouts.
-
Sleeve, hood, collar, and pocket artwork.
-
Seam-to-seam design continuity.
-
Print-panel preparation.
-
Vector artwork preparation.
-
Cutting-line and safe-area coordination.
-
Production mockups and digital proofs.
-
Artwork formatting and file conversion.
Manufacturing providers must clearly communicate their technical file requirements before artwork preparation begins.
Depending on provider compatibility, accepted files may include:
-
Editable PDF.
-
SVG vector files.
-
Adobe Illustrator (AI).
-
High-resolution PNG.
-
TIFF.
-
Other agreed production formats.
MMD may prepare artwork at 700 DPI or higher when appropriate and technically feasible. However, final pixel dimensions, resolution, color profiles, and file formats must satisfy the individual manufacturer's specifications.
Providers must not assume that a file is suitable for cutting or manufacturing solely because it has a high DPI value.
Artwork Protection Requirements
Suppliers may not:
-
Stretch artwork without authorization.
-
Change logos or brand markings.
-
Alter approved designs without permission.
-
Crop essential artwork outside agreed cutting boundaries.
-
Replace original artwork with AI-generated substitutes.
-
Resell or distribute MMD production files.
-
Reuse approved designs for unrelated customers.
-
Claim ownership of MMD-provided artwork.
Any required artwork corrections must be communicated and approved before production.
Design-to-cut preparation, pattern engineering, custom graphics, and additional file services may involve separate fees as agreed between the parties.
7. Custom Inflatable SUP Board Manufacturing
Medellin Mafia Design also develops custom inflatable stand-up paddleboard (SUP) designs and works with specialized manufacturers.
These projects may involve:
-
Standard-size inflatable SUP boards.
-

-
Touring and recreational SUP designs.
-
Custom top, bottom, and side artwork.
-
Original board graphics and branding.

-
Available board lengths, widths, and thicknesses.
-
Supported board construction and materials.
-
Standard and custom MOQ requirements.
-
Top, bottom, and side artwork templates.
-
Printable areas and cutting boundaries.
-
Recommended print resolution and color settings.
-
Available accessories and components.
-

SUP Board Quality Control
Manufacturers should maintain documented quality-control procedures appropriate to inflatable watercraft, including checks for:
-
Inflation integrity and air retention.
-
Seam bonding and workmanship.
-
Appropriate pressure specifications.
-
Structural defects and material damage.
-
Fin and attachment compatibility.
-
Secure handles, straps, and D-rings.
-
Accurate artwork placement.
-
Applicable product safety requirements.
Where agreed, suppliers should provide inspection reports, sample images, or other quality-verification documentation before shipment.
Custom Board Artwork & Templates
SUP manufacturers must follow approved artwork templates covering the board's printable surfaces.
Artwork must not be stretched, repositioned, cut off, or substituted without authorization.
If the manufacturer identifies technical limitations involving seam placement, valves, fins, handles, or printing boundaries, these must be communicated before production.
MMD may request revised proofs before manufacturing approval.
MOQ, Storage & Fulfillment
Minimum order quantities, storage arrangements, manufacturing schedules, and shipping responsibilities must be established separately with each SUP supplier.
Custom-size boards may have different production requirements than standard models.
Any agreed inventory storage must identify duration, storage costs, ownership, insurance responsibilities, release procedures, and shipping arrangements.
Suppliers must not begin chargeable custom production without the necessary order and design approvals.
SUP Shipping Requirements
SUP manufacturers must also comply with the mandatory shipping standards in Section 10.
Due to the size and specialized manufacturing requirements of inflatable SUP boards, manufacturers must disclose any anticipated limitations before accepting an order.
Longer shipping arrangements require prior written approval from MMD.
8. Print-on-Demand & Made-to-Order Fulfillment
Many MMD products are manufactured after customers place orders.
Approved suppliers are expected to:
-
Confirm order receipt and product availability.
-
Verify approved artwork and product specifications.
-
Provide accurate production estimates.
-
Produce products according to agreed requirements.
-
Communicate delays or manufacturing problems.
-
Provide shipping confirmation and tracking when available.
-
Assist with resolving manufacturing and fulfillment errors.
Suppliers must not promise unauthorized delivery dates or product availability on MMD's behalf.
All approved providers are expected to meet the shipping requirements established in Section 10.
9. Pricing, Payments & Financial Transparency
Suppliers must clearly disclose relevant manufacturing expenses.
These may include:
-
Product and material costs.
-
Custom manufacturing charges.
-
Cut-and-sew production fees.
-
Pattern development and grading.
-
Artwork setup and printing fees.
-
Design-to-cut preparation charges.
-
SUP board customization charges.
-
Tooling and equipment costs.
-
Minimum order quantities.
-
Storage and warehousing fees.
-
Packaging and fulfillment costs.
-
Shipping, duties, and applicable taxes.
Suppliers must communicate proposed price changes before applying them to new orders or agreed work.
Payment terms, currency, invoicing schedules, and financial obligations will be established separately through applicable supplier arrangements.
This policy does not establish a purchase commitment or guarantee any order volume.
10. Mandatory Shipping Speed, Delivery & Order Tracking
Medellin Mafia Design (MMD) requires all approved suppliers, manufacturers, and fulfillment partners to provide fast, reliable, and trackable shipping services.
Standard Product Shipping: 4–15 calendar days
Custom Inflatable SUP Board Shipping: 20–30 calendar days
These delivery windows begin when the completed order is accepted by the shipping carrier and exclude manufacturing and production time.
10.1 Standard Product Delivery Requirements
All approved suppliers must offer shipping services capable of delivering standard MMD products within 4–15 calendar days after carrier acceptance, including:
-
Print-on-demand apparel and accessories.
-
Cut-and-sew clothing and custom garments.
-
Custom footwear and fashion products.
-
Home décor and lifestyle products.
-
Bags, headwear, drinkware, and other accessories.
-
Other made-to-order and supplier-fulfilled merchandise.
Faster delivery is acceptable and encouraged.
Suppliers must provide realistic shipping estimates and tracking information.
10.2 Custom Inflatable SUP Board Shipping Exception
Custom inflatable SUP boards have a separate estimated shipping and delivery window of 20–30 calendar days after carrier acceptance.
This extended timeframe accommodates the specialized handling, transportation, facility inspections, and processing procedures that may be involved in shipping inflatable paddleboards.
SUP shipments may undergo:
-
Manufacturing facility quality inspections.
-
Shipping warehouse inspections.
-
Freight processing and verification.
-
Customs inspections for international shipments.
-
Carrier sorting and distribution facility processing.
-
Final transportation to the customer's delivery address.
Manufacturing inspections completed before carrier acceptance are part of the production or fulfillment stage, not the shipping transit period.
SUP manufacturers must clearly identify expected production time separately from the estimated 20–30-day shipping period.
Suppliers are expected to minimize unnecessary delays and provide shipping updates throughout the delivery process.
Any known circumstances that could extend delivery beyond 30 calendar days must be communicated promptly to MMD.
10.3 Production Time vs. Shipping Time
Production and shipping are separate stages.
Suppliers must clearly disclose:
-
Estimated manufacturing and production time.
-
Order processing and packaging time.
-
Date of shipment and carrier acceptance.
-
Estimated transportation and inspection time.
-
Expected final delivery date.
-
Applicable international shipping and customs requirements.
Suppliers must not misrepresent production time as shipping time or report an order as shipped before it has been transferred to the carrier.
10.4 Mandatory Shipping Standards
All approved suppliers are expected to:
-
Provide shipping services meeting the applicable MMD product delivery window.
-
Use reliable shipping carriers with tracking capabilities.
-
Provide accurate tracking information after carrier acceptance.
-
Ship completed orders promptly.
-
Communicate potential delays as early as possible.
-
Package products appropriately to prevent damage.
-
Provide shipment updates and delivery confirmation when available.
-
Cooperate with MMD when investigating lost, damaged, delayed, or undelivered orders.
-
Disclose any additional inspection, customs, or freight requirements.
-
Maintain transparent communication until delivery is completed.
10.5 International Shipping & Custom Manufacturing
International manufacturers must disclose their shipping capabilities, available carriers, estimated transportation times, and customs requirements before partnership approval.
Approved shipping expectations:
-
Standard merchandise: 4–15 calendar days.
-
Custom inflatable SUP boards: 20–30 calendar days.
The SUP board delivery window is an approved category-specific exception and does not require separate approval when the shipment is expected to arrive within that timeframe.
Other exceptions require prior written authorization from MMD.
Delivery windows are estimates and may be affected by customs holds, inspection delays, carrier disruptions, or other circumstances beyond reasonable supplier control.
Suppliers must communicate any anticipated delays immediately upon becoming aware of them.
10.6 Supplier Accountability
MMD may evaluate supplier performance based on:
-
Actual shipping and delivery times.
-
Compliance with the applicable delivery window.
-
Accurate carrier tracking records.
-
Communication regarding shipping delays.
-
Customer delivery confirmation.
-
Frequency of missing or delayed shipments.
-
Cooperation in resolving delivery problems.
Repeated failure to meet agreed shipping requirements may result in:
-
Supplier performance review.
-
Temporary suspension of new orders.
-
Removal of affected products.
-
Discontinuation of the supplier relationship, subject to applicable agreements.
10.7 Customer Satisfaction Commitment
MMD prioritizes reliable fulfillment, realistic delivery estimates, and transparent communication.
Successful fulfillment is not simply manufacturing a product or generating a shipping label.
Our objective is to ensure that completed orders reach customers at their designated delivery addresses within the applicable shipping timeframe.
MMD recognizes that custom inflatable SUP boards may require additional shipping and inspection time compared with standard merchandise.
Suppliers are expected to communicate delays, provide accurate shipment information, and cooperate in resolving delivery issues.
10.8 Mandatory Shipping Capability for Supplier Approval
All prospective suppliers must demonstrate access to shipping services capable of meeting the following requirements:
Standard MMD Products: 4–15 calendar days after carrier acceptance.
Custom Inflatable SUP Boards: 20–30 calendar days after carrier acceptance.
Suppliers unable to meet the applicable shipping requirements must disclose their limitations before accepting orders and obtain written authorization for exceptions.
These requirements apply to domestic and international suppliers, manufacturers, and fulfillment partners.
11. Cancellations, Returns, Refunds & Replacements
MMD's products frequently involve customized or made-to-order manufacturing.
Cancellation availability may be limited once production begins.
Suppliers should communicate the production status of orders and identify whether cancellation remains possible.
MMD expects cooperation when investigating:
-
Incorrect products.
-
Manufacturing defects.
-
Printing errors.
-
Damaged merchandise.
-
Incorrect sizes or construction.
-
Incomplete orders.
-
Unauthorized artwork modifications.
-
Defective SUP board construction.
-
Missing components.
-
Shipping and fulfillment mistakes.
MMD's customer-facing Returns & Refund Policy allows eligible fulfillment-related issues to be reported within 30 days of delivery.
Supplier investigation procedures, financial responsibility, remedies, and applicable reporting deadlines must be established through the relevant supplier arrangement.
12. Intellectual Property & Brand Protection
Medellin Mafia Design retains its applicable rights in original artwork, brand assets, production designs, and proprietary creative materials.
Suppliers may use MMD-provided intellectual property only for authorized business purposes.
Without authorization, suppliers must not:

Customer information must be processed securely and only for authorized business purposes.
Suppliers must not:
-
Sell customer information.
-
Use customer information for unrelated marketing.
-
Contact customers for unauthorized promotional purposes.
-
Disclose private manufacturing agreements.
-
Share confidential business records or production files without authorization.
Suppliers must comply with applicable privacy laws and agreed confidentiality obligations.
Suspected security incidents affecting MMD information must be reported promptly.
14. Communication & Supplier Accountability
Professional communication is essential to maintaining successful manufacturing partnerships.
Suppliers are expected to respond appropriately to inquiries involving:
-
Production specifications.
-
Custom manufacturing requests.
-
Artwork corrections.
-
Manufacturing defects.
-
Shipping delays.

Product quality concerns.

MMD expects responsible business practices, including:
-
Accurate product representations.

Manufacturing accuracy.

Product quality.

Pricing transparency.
-
Order-management capabilities.
-
Customer complaint trends.
-
Problem-resolution performance.
Supplier approval does not guarantee ongoing orders, exclusivity, or an indefinite business relationship.
Relationships may be discontinued according to applicable contracts and legal requirements.
17. Independent Business Relationships
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, MMD and its suppliers operate as independent businesses.
Supplier partnerships do not automatically establish employment, agency, franchise, joint-venture, or legal partnership relationships.
Suppliers may not enter into commitments or represent themselves as authorized agents of MMD without express written permission.

19. Policy Updates & Agreement Terms
Medellin Mafia Design may update this policy to reflect changes in manufacturing capabilities, supplier requirements, shipping standards, business operations, or applicable law.
